A view of the main
entrance to Stogursey Church of England voluntary aided school and a fine example of
Victorian Gothic architecture. It was designed by John Norton and was given in 1860 to the
community by Sir Peregrine Acland of Fairfield as a thankyou offering for the recovery of
his daughter Isabel from a serious illness.
